Bandai Namco has released a new batch of high definition screenshots for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the upcoming action role-playing game based on the first sagas of the acclaimed
Dragon Ball manga/anime by Akira Toriyama.
So far, we know that the game will retell the events of the series, namely having players play through the Saiyan and Frieza sagas of the
Dragon Ball Z series, which means that they will be fighting against some powerful foes like Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta, to the Ginyu Force and Frieza himself.
This new batch of screenshots for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot give us a good look at both the Z warriors and the villains, showing off the game's fantastic graphics that look almost exactly like the anime.
Facial expressions are really what make or break anime-based games(looking at you,
Jump Force), and
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has completely knocked facial expressions out of the park — as perfectly illustrated in the clash between Goku and Vegeta.
