Batman: Arkham Knight launched way back in 2015. It served as the conclusion to the 'Arkhamverse' until Rocksteady Studios announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in August of last year — more on that here.
Like the other instalments in the Batman: Arkham game series, Batman: Arkham Knight allowed players to customise their character. This meant you could play as Batman not only in his awesome Arkham Knight getup but also fight crime wearing the batsuit from The Dark Knight, Batman 66, Batman v Superman, and many more popular incarnations of the character.
Well, the most recent cinematic iteration of Batman was announced well after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight and, thus, it isn't a skin in the game. We're talking The Batman; which is set to premiere on March 4th, 2022 and star Robert Pattinson as the titular caped crusader. The film features arguably one of the best batsuits put to screen yet, so it's a shame it isn't an option in Batman: Arkham Knight.
Well, a Batman fan over on Twitter who goes by the handle @Freezelizard recently visualised what it would look like if Robert Pattinson's incarnation of the character was a skin in Arkham Knight. If you weren't in the know, you would think this photoshop job is the real deal. Check it out below:
Rocksteady added new cosmetic options to Batman: Arkham Knight as recently as December of last year, so there is actually a slim chance that what this user has presented here could actually come into being for real. Fingers crossed.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to launch in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
