Capcom has announced the complete list of Versus Modes for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Players will be able to experience online 4 vs. 4 team battles playing as either a member of the Umbrella Security Service (USS) or US Spec Ops.
The versus modes for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will include:
- Team Deathmatch
Fight for the most amount of kills - Biohazard
Escort samples of the G-Virus to the base - Survivors
Survive until the helicopter arrives to rescue you - Heroes
Fight and defend your iconic characters to win
Capcom has also revealed new characters for multiplayer as well. Players will be able to take on the role of the bad guys with USS members Vector, Beltway, Lupo, Four-Eyes, Spectre or Bertha.
Those that want to play as the US Spec Ops team (the "good guys") will have the option to play as as Tweed, Dee-ay, Harley, Willow, Shona or Party Girl.
About Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City It is September 1998 and the action centers once more on the ill-fated Raccoon City and the horrific consequences of the deadly T-virus outbreak from the Umbrella facility. With a cover up required, Umbrella orders an elite team into Raccoon City to destroy all evidence of the outbreak and eliminate any survivors. Hearing of this plan, the US Government dispatches its own special forces to uncover any evidence that exposes the cause of the viral infection and Umbrella’s actions. Players take on the role of an Umbrella Security Services soldier (U.S.S.), competing alone or in four player co-op in a battle against all the competing forces at play in Raccoon City.
