Splinter Cell‘s Sam Fisher is joining Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands as part of an upcoming special operations mission. Tom Clancy, while primarily known for his books, has his name has attached to some of the longest-running and most beloved video game franchises out there, such as Splinter CellGhost ReconRainbow Six, and even The Division. And after all these years, it looks like two of these series are finally gearing up for a major crossover.

Ghost Recon's official Twitter account recently posted a video that teases Sam Fisher’s addition to Ghost Recon Wildlands for a spec ops mission called "The Call". A full reveal will be arriving on April 9. The voiceover in the video is clearly Michael Ironside – an iconic voice actor known for voicing Sam Fisher in the Splinter Cell franchise. He was, unfortunately, replaced by Eric Johnson for Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013, but it appears that Ironside is returning to voice the character once again.

Take a look at the teaser below:

What do you think about the teased crossover? Which other series would you like to see cross paths?
