RUMOR: The First & Second Season Of Telltale's THE WALKING DEAD May Be Coming To The Switch Next Month
Along with the confirmed release of Telltale's finale to its The Walking Dead series, the first and second season may well be heading to the Switch - if this product listing is to be believed. Check it out...
Telltale's The Walking Dead series will be brought to an end this coming August in the aptly named The Walking Dead: The Final Season - though a new product listing seems to indicate that a resuregence will be taking place for previous seasons.
The Final Season will be arriving on Nintendo Switch, along with other consoles, on August 14th. However, a product listing over at Mediamarkt.se may have revealed that the first two seasons of The Walking Dead will also be coming to the Switch, weeks later, on August 31st.
The listing itself actually features cover art for the game (in the form of the second season's promotional art) as well as a couple of in-game screenshots.
While Telltale Games hasn’t confirmed either of the first seasons for the system just yet, considering that The Final Season will be arriving on the Switch, it would make sense. Especially as it was previously confirmed that Telltale's Batman and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy games would be making their Nintendo debut on the Switch at some point - though an exact release date has not been revealed.
Perhaps Telltale will reveal this re-release at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con event. What do you think about the legitimacy of this listing? Would you like the first and second season of Telltale's The Walking Dead to arrive on the Nintendo Switch?
