We’re all eagerly awaiting gameplay for
Overkill’s The Walking Dead, but with E3 still being a few days away, the developer has instead released a trailer for the fourth and final playable character, Heather. It’s yet another CGI trailer, but it’s damn impressive and quite violent. Courtesy of IGN First, check out the latest trailer for
Overkill’s The Walking Dead:
With this trailer, we’ve now been introduced to all four playable characters in
Overkill’s The Walking Dead, a four-player co-op action FPS where you must work together to fight off the dead as well as the living. Interestingly, Heather’s trailer is the first to show conflict with actual human survivors.
It’s also the first trailer where we don’t really have an idea as to what sort of playstyle Heather will offer. With each of the other trailers, we were given subtle hints as to the character’s role in the squad. Aiden, who was seen wielding a bat, is presumably a melee character, while Maya, a former surgeon, is likely a healer. Then there was Grant, seen holding a sniper rifle, suggesting he’s a long-range expert. We’ll have to wait and see what sort of role Heather will fill, though she seems like a natural leader.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead will release later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A
gameplay trailer will be shown during E3 where the game will also be playable on the show floor.
