Shawn Baichoo is a famous voice actor who has been helping various game developers bring their characters to life since 2005's
Far Cry: Instincts and is mostly associated with Ubisoft. While he played protagonist of
Outlast II Blake Langermann, he also portrayed Lion (
Rainbow Six: Siege), Niccolò Machiavelli (
Assassin's Creed II and
Brotherhood), and Unferth in
Beowulf among countless others.
Baichoo also lent his voice in
Watch_Dogs 2 playing enthusiastic masked vigilante Wrench, and it's arguably his most recognizable work to date. In Ubisoft Montreal's title, Wrench was a core character, who worked alongside main protagonist Marcus and his friends as the secret hacking collective’s engineer and so-called "fixer." Wrench was even playable for a small section at the end of the game.
Considering that we know for sure that Ubisoft is currently developing a new
WD game thanks to their own AI assistant, it's even more interesting to hear that Baichoo has been cast as a voice actor in a mysterious and "
awesome" project. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, many fans of the hacking series predict that Aiden Pearce, the main anti-hero of the first
Watch_Dogs, may return in the threequel, and it wouldn't be surprising to see other characters from the
Watch_Dogs universe's returns. We also doubt anyone would be complaining about another adventure with Wrench, as he's one of the most developed and likable heroes of the whole series. Check out Baichoo's Tweet below:
