Back in May of last year, Capcom surprised Nintendo Switch fans by announcing that the first e ntry in their critically acclaimed hack 'n' slash
Devil May Cry series would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch eShop a month after the announcement.
During September's Nintendo Direct presentation, Capcom took the opportunity to reveal that
Devil May Cry 2 was also going to be releasing for the Nintendo Switch, and that the game was going to become available that very same month — which players could easily purchase from the eShop.
The most recent announcement was made in November of last year, when Capcom also surprised Nintendo Switch owners by announcing
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for Nintendo's popular handheld hybrid console — revealing that the third entry in the series will become available on the
20th of February.
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition Producer Matt Walker has recently made an interesting announcement, as the producer reveals that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will be getting "a little something extra," and that they will be revealing exactly what this "something extra" is in upcoming dates; encouraging players to check back for more information on the 16th and 30th of January, as well as on the 13th of February.
Devil May Cry 3 takes place before the events of the first game. In this installment, you can choose different combat Styles like Swordmaster and Gunslinger, and it's up to you which Style you decide to develop and improve on. This game also contains the Special Edition features that let you play as Dante's brother Vergil.
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 20th of February.
