It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that
Dragon ball Z: Kakarot is one of the best games based on Akira Toriyama's iconic, and long-running
Dragon Ball series. In fact, it is actually confirmed to be the series'
third biggest video game launch.
With a very impressive
1.5 million copies sold within its first week since release,
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot definitely establish itself as a fan-favourite pretty much from the get-go — which was somewhat expected, considering how the developers marketed the game, and how fans responded to the game's nostalgic marketing campaign.
Today, Bandai Namco has proudly announced that
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has managed to sell over 2 million copies since its original release on the 16th of January — thanking fans for their support, and for "
taking part in the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot adventure."
With all the success that
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has seen since it was released, chances the game getting even more extra content — or even a sequel, at some point in the future — are more than likely. We'll just have to patiently wait for more official announcements from the developers.
