It's been a long time since a full-fledged Harry Potter video game, a long time that is about to come to an end! Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming open-world action RPG developed by Avalanche Software. Revealed during a State of Play presentation back in September of last year, Hogwarts Legacy is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and on PC in 2022.
Finally, fans of the wizarding world of Harry Potter will be able to live out their fantasy of being enrolled at the infamous school of witchcraft and wizardry. We've heard little to nothing since September regarding Hogwarts Legacy but, thankfully, it seems that's about to change.
Industry inside Millie Amand recently took to Twitter with a gif of the highly-anticipated title and the simple caption "Soon..." Now, Amand has proven herself a reputable source in the past. However, this should still be taken with a grain of salt; don't get your hopes up too high.
Back in October, Amand was asked if she had any insight into the upcoming Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment title. The insider claimed that the game would next be shown during the State of Play back then or at The Game Awards. Thus, the first option has been crossed out; that leaves The Game Awards 2021 — which is set to take place next month on December 9th. This would certainly fit with Amand's cryptic tweet, which you can check out below (via @millieamand):
