With Life is Strange: Double Exposure set to release in October and available for pre-order, Square Enix has revealed the full set of designs featured in the Final Fantasy VII Outfit Pack.
Available to those who purchase the Ultimate Edition version of the game, the FFVII Outfit Pack contains a variety of outfits inspired by the beloved role-playing franchise. Included in the pack is the Moogle coat with sculpted beanie and four indoor outfits themed around the Chocobo, Cactuar, Bomb, and Tonberry. Each outfit lets you change the look of Max with one new outfit available for her to wear in each chapter of the story.
Revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase back in June, Life is Strange: Double Exposure is the newest entry in the award-winning third-person narrative adventure series from Square Enix, who also publishes the Final Fantasy franchise. Developed by Deck Nine Games, LiS: Double Exposure is a supernatural murder mystery that once again stars Max Caulfield.
Now a photographer-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University, Max discovers her closest new friend, Safi, dead in the snow — murdered. In an attempt to save Safi, Max attempts to Rewind time — a power she has not used in years — but instead opens the way to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive, and still in danger.
Realizing that the killer will soon strike again — in both versions of reality — Max must Shift between the two parallel timelines to solve and prevent the same murder.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Windows Store on October 29, 2024. However, anyone who pre-orders the Ultimate Edition can gain Advanced Access to Chapters 1 and 2 beginning on October 15, 2024, two weeks ahead of the game's full launch.
In addition to the Standard Edition of the game for $49.99, there's also the Digital Deluxe version for $59.99 that includes the Spooky Outfit Pack and Decades Outfit Pack. The Ultimate Edition, available for $79.99, also includes these packs plus the aforementioned Final Fantasy VII Outfit Pack, Fan Favorite Outfit Pack, Paw Prints Outfit Pack, and exclusive Cat Content.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is also coming to Nintendo Switch, although details such as launch date are to be announced later.
While Life is Strange and its sequel Life is Strange 2 were both originally developed by Dontnod Entertainment, Deck Nine released the prequel, Before the Store, as well as the third mainline installment, Life is Strange: True Colors. With Deck Nine now handling the development of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Dontnod has moved on to another narrative adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, due out in 2025.
