Apex Legends continues to grow in numbers. Just one week after the free-to-play battle royale game's release, it has already reached 25 million players, EA announced today.
Apex Legends also had "well over" two million concurrent players at the game's peak over the weekend.
The latest milestone comes just days after EA announced
Apex Legends had
hit 10 million players (one million concurrent) just 72 hours after launch.
Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella provided a week one update today, reminding fans of the
upcoming Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge. The upcoming competition will kick off on Tuesday, February 12 and continue next Tuesday, February 19. The event will feature the 48 Twitch streamers competing for $200,000 in prizes.
Additionally,
Apex Legends will be celebrating Valentine's Day with some special, limited-time themed loot. We don't know the details yet, but Valentine's Day is on Thursday so the wait won't be long now.
