Frogwares, the studio responsible for some pretty enjoyable adventure games with Sherlock Holmes is working currently on The Sinking City, a detective game set in an open world area, strongly inspired by the novels of H.P. Lovecraft. You will play as a private detective who's trying to solve the mystery of never stopping floods that drive the citizens of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England crazy.

Call of Cthulhu isn’t the only Lovecraft game featured at E3 2018 as the Ukrainian video game studio released a brand new TSC trailer during this year's PC Gaming Show. The said trailer introduces us to a mysterious investigator who arrives in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts. The recently released gameplay is rough around the edges, but The Sinking City has a lot of potential to not s(t)ink.

The horror may definitely be a treat for the fans of the sadly forgotten Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. The Sinking City is set for a release on March 21, 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The Sinking City is a game of investigation and mystery taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The player steps into the shoes of a 1920s private investigator who finds himself in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England. A city suffering from unprecedented floods of clearly supernatural origins, a city trembling on the brink of madness.
