Square Enix's 2D role-playing game OctopathTraveler is coming out on the 13th of July and today we got a new trailer during the E3 Nintendo Direct that refreshes our memory on a few things like the game's characters, as well as that fantastic Compendium Edition they announced a while back

The new trailer compiles previous character trailers into one, which gives us a better look at the characters, their motivations, and some of the combat. So, in case you missed any of the previous character trailers for the game, here's everything you need to know about the characters before they set off on their adventure.

Square Enix had previously released a demo for Octopath Traveler that allowed players to play the first episode in Olberic and Primrose's respective stories. Now they have also announced that a new demo will be coming to the Nintendo eShop that will let players play the first episode of every single one of the eight adventurers. The new demo will be available on the 14th of June for players to download.

Eight travelers. Eight adventures. Eight roles to play in a new world brought to life by Square Enix. Explore each traveler’s story and use their abilities in and out of battle. Will you expand your horizons as the Merchant or track down a traitor as the Warrior? Where will you go? Who will join you? You alone can choose your path.

Octopath Traveler will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on the 13th of July.
