Super Smash Brothers Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch is pulling no punches as it will feature every single character that has been featured in the past, from the classic Smash on the Nintendo 64 to the latest iteration on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch will be available on the 7th of December this year!

Wolf, Young Link, Solid Snake, Ice Climbers and many more that had been somewhat forgotten are coming back in what seems to be Masahiro Sakurai's masterpiece. The video made sure to let us know that everyone is coming back but they also mentioned that the roster will be as small as it was in the first Super Smash Brothers. This means that players will have to unlock the others—which is a great way to encourage players to play the game even more, especially since everyone and their mother is excited for the next game in the series.

The game is also introducing Echo Fighters, which are similar versions of another existing character like Pit and Dark Pit, or Lucina and Marth, and now they're introducing a new Echo Fighter in the form of Princess Daisy—which is obviously based on Princess Peach—that will make fans very happy.

As a newcomer to the game is Inkling(girl and boy), which are characters first introduced in Splatoon for the Wii U, and will come with the Squid Sisters as assist trophy—that fans will also likely appreciate.

The stages in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch are also getting the spotlight as a huge number of stages are makign a comeback—this time with improved graphics—as well as new stages from Spaltoon, and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, and even the stages featured on the Nintendo 3DS version of the game(which were completely missing in the Wii U version). Ridley from the Metroid series is also coming back, only this time as a playable character!
