THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING Gets Charming And Nostalgic New Trailer

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake was announced earlier this year, and fans of the iconic Game Boy title were thrilled to find out that they would be able to play this timeless classic with some updated graphics and gameplay mechanics.

Besides the fantastic and cutesy new art style, the game seemed to have kept most of its charm intact. From a technical stand point, the game also kept that top-down view classic titles in The Legend of Zelda series were known for, so that's still a plus for everyone wanting to get an experience faithful to the original.

Today, during the Direct Presentation for this year's E3, nintendo has released a brand-new story trailer that shows off the game in all of its High Definition glory; introducing us to a very dungeon-making mechanic that will allow players to make their own The Legend of Zelda dungeons.

Nintendo also revealed the game's official release date, which will see The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening releasing, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, on the 20th of September.

Check it out:

Originally released for the Game Boy™ system more than 25 years ago, one of the most beloved games in the Legend of Zelda series returns. In this modern re-imagining, players once again return to the mysterious island of Koholint to guide Link on a perilous adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be available for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
