Fans of the critically acclaimed Guilty Gear video game fighting series will likely be ecstatic to find out that Arc System Works has announced a brand-new entry in the franchise, during this year's EVO event.

The developer took the opportunity to release an action-packed trailer that gives us our first look at the redesigned versions of Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske in those amazing 2.5D graphics Arc System Works has been using since Guilty Gear Xrd; an art style they also, and beautifully implemented in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

What Arc System Works doesn't mention, however, is when exactly this new title will be releasing — revealing that it is scheduled to release at some point in 2020 — or the official name for this game; simply calling it Guilty Gear.

Check it out:

Guilty Gear is expected to release in 2020.
