Brawlhalla is a free-to-play party game inspired by Nintendo's very successful
Super Smash Bros. series. The game is developed by independent studio Blue Mammoth Games and was originally released for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and macOS in October of 2017.
Blue Mammoth Games was acquired by Ubisoft in March of this year, which made possible for the game to add Ubisoft's very own
Rayman, Globox, and Barbara to the
Brawlhalla roster as playable characters, with the game now featuring a huge roster of 40 fighters.
Like
Super Smash Bros.,
Brawlhalla allows players to engage in 1v1, 2v2, 8-player 4v4 multiplayer, and free-for-all matches, providing players with a rich, and competitive multiplayer experience. Today,
Brawlhalla has finally released for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One—finally becoming available in every current gen console—and Ubisoft has released a brand-new trailer showing off some of the game's features.
