Brawlout is a party fighting game inspired by Nintendo's highly popular
Super Smash Bros. series, developed and published by Angry Mob Games. The game is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and Steam, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version coming
this August.
Being a party fighting game,
Brawlout sees players engaging in single player, online multiplayer, or classic local couch gameplay in exciting matches of up to four players. Action is fast-paced and fluid, which offers players a wide selection of characters with different, and unique fighting styles—allowing for an even more dynamic gameplay.
Much like
Super Smash Bros.,
Brawlout features a big roster with over 20 characters; four of which are from other indie franchises such as DrinkBox Studios'
Guacamelee and Playism's
Hyper Light Drifter plus two newly added characters, as well as giving us an official release date for the game.
As per today's brand new trailer,
Brawlout will be releasing on the
21st of August and will be including Yooka and Laylee from
Yooka & Laylee, as well as Dead Cells from the
Dead Cells game—both from independent developers PlayTonic and MotionTwin, respectively. Yooka and Laylee will be available at launch, while Dead Cells is expected to be available this
Fall.
