When
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition was announced, Capcom surprised quite a few
Street Fighter veterans by revealing that
Street Fighter III: New Generation's Gill and
Street Fighter IV's Seth — both main villains that hadn't been seen since they were first introduced — would be joining the game's roster.
While Gill was just as a pleasant surprise as Seth was, the one that had the most people talking was the latter; mainly because of how radical a chance the character went through — or, at the very least, from a physical standpoint. What's even more interesting, is that Seth being made into a woman actually made the charactere way more interesting design-wise.
The fact that Seth is now looking completely different than he did in
Street Fighter IV doesn't quite affect the character's moveset in the slightest, as most of the abilities have been kept intact, and the latest gameplay preview released by Capcom shows off Seth's move set ahead of
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition's release on the
14th of February.
