SkyScrappers is a classic arcade-style fighting game developed and published by independent developer Ground Shatter. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2015, and has just been announced for the Nintendo Switch.
In
SkyScrappers, players engage in high-intensity fights on top of collapsing buildings and choose amongst a diverse range of extreme sportspeople. The game revolves around classic couch multiplayer and supports up to four players for maximum enjoyment.
An interesting aspect about the fighting style in
SkyScrappers is that, quite literally, the game rewards style as being the strongest or the fastest may not be enough in order to win these matches. According to the developer,
SkyScrappers looks to capture the feel of the Neo Geo era with updated hand-drawn graphics, taking advantage of of the power in current gen consoles.
Today, we get a brand new trailer for
SkyScrappers as Ground Shatter officially announces a Nintendo Switch version, and the game will be available digitally on the
30th of October.
Take a look:
There exists a secret group of international thrill-seekers, who meet up at sky scrapers planned for demolition to race and fight one another to reach the top before the building hits the ground… or they do.
SkyScrappers will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 29th of October.
