Warner Bros. Games have announce two new fighters set to join the roster of its platform fighting game MultiVersus. Coming in Season 4, which is just around the corner, will be DC's Raven and Adventure Time's Marceline.
"Daughter of DC Super-Villain Trigon, Raven possesses a half-demon, supernatural lineage that grants her incredible magical abilities, including telekinesis, flight, projection of her Soul-Self, and control over darkness itself, making her a formidable opponent for anyone in her way," Warner Bros. writes of the newcomer.
A new trailer for Season 4 specifically focuses on Raven and her fighting skills as a Mage character. She's able to use dark magic and telekinetic abilities to take on her enemies, while her pet bird Lenore can assist in battle and extend combos. The trailer also provides a sneak peek at the White Raven, Rule Breaker Raven, and Trigon Possessed Superman character variants.
Raven will be released alongside the start of Season 4 on November 12th.
Meanwhile Marceline, the fun-loving 1,000-year-old vampire queen from Adventure Time, will arrive later in the season. The 10-week season will runt through January 21st and will feature two battle passes, so expect Marceline to make her debut around the midway point in early to mid December.
Season 4 will also feature two new maps. The "Back to the Past" map, inspired by the Samurai Jack animated series, will arrive on November 12th, while the "Candy Tavern map, based on the iconic locale from Adventure Time, will debut later this season.
There will be four themed events, rifts, and skins as well as a new Arena Mode and "Fighter Rode" feature. The new Arena Mode will allow eight teams of two players to go head-to-head in round-based competitive matches to earn in-game rewards.
Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighting game in the same vein as Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. The game pits characters from Warner Bros.
