The holidays are upon us and video game companies are vying for our hard-earned dollars. Nintendo has gone live with its holiday offerings, blending Black Friday with Cyber Monday in what they are calling "Cyber Deals."
From now through December 2nd at 11:59 p.m. PT, you can save up to 50% on select games for the Nintendo Switch. Even Nintendo's biggest first-party titles, such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Marker 2 are on sale. You can also find discounts on third-party titles fo the Switch, including Hogwarts Legacy, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and more.
Hundreds of the biggest Nintendo Switch titles are available at a discount. Below are some of the highlights of Nintendo's Cyber Deals for 2024.
First-Party Nintendo Switch Game Discounts
Third-Party Nintendo Switch Game Discounts
Interestingly, not all of the games that Nintendo had mentioned in its earlier Black Friday announcement are discounted in the Cyber Deals. Titles like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pikmin 4, Super Mario Odyssey, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Pikmin 1+2 are said to be discounted at local retailers beginning November 24th. But it seems if you want these games at a discount, you'll need to order from Best, Buy, GameSpot, Target, Walmart, or other local participating retailers. You'll be able to save $20 on these select titles.
Three holiday Nintendo Switch bundles are being offered this year. The standard Nintendo Switch bundle, which has been offered just about every year the Switch has been out, includes the console, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, and 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online for $299.99, representing $79.98 of added value.
If you want a bit of an upgrade, you can go with the Nintendo Switch - OLED Model bundle. This also includes the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game and 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online — all for $349.99.
Finally, if you're only interested in playing your Switch on the go, you can save a bit of money with the Nintendo Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition. This handheld-only option features a specially designed Nintendo Switch Lite inspired by The Legend of Zelda game series. It also includes a Bonus Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This bundle costs $209.99, offering a savings of $39.99.
Nintendo isn't the only one of the Big Three that has launched its digital deals. Sony just went live with its own PlayStation Store Black Friday sale, bringing discounts to hundreds of PS5 and PS4 digital games.
