Season 3 of Bandai Namco and Arc System Works' critically acclaimed Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced in February of this year; promising to give players five more characters to play as; with Dragon Ball Super's Kefla and Ultra Instinc Goku revealed as the first two.

Kefla was already released a few weeks after Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 was announced, and the developers revealed that the mighty Ultra Instinct Goku would be launching on Friday the 22nd of May. If you're a fan of the game, you're probably already counting the days until the DLC releases next week.

Bandai Namco has yet to reveal who the other 3 remaining characters are, but it seems that they want to add the most popular characters in the Tournament of Power arc from Dragon Ball Super. I'll throw in my two cents and speculate that Vegeta's Super Saiyan God SS Evolved and Toppo will be two of those characters; the third is anybody's guess.

Today Bandai Namco and developer Arc System Works have shared a jaw-dropping, and action-packed gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ that shows off Ultra Instinct Goku and even gives us a glimpse of Goku's most powerful transformations' dramatic finisher.

Check it out:

After the success of the Xenoverse series, it’s time to introduce a new classic 2D DRAGON BALL fighting game for this generation’s consoles. DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its allpowerful fighters.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
