Dragon Ball FighterZ came out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in January of this year, becoming one of the go-to fighting games for fans of the
Dragon Ball series.
During this year's E3, back in June, Bandai Namco finally announced that
Dragon Ball FighterZ was being ported to the Nintendo Switch, and it would be releasing by the end of September; allowing players to take their heated
Dragon Ball battles on-the-go thanks to the system's portability.
Later in July, we found out that the Nintendo Switch version of
Dragon Ball FighterZ would be introducing 1v1 and 2v2 fights as Bandai Namco announced it on their verified Twitter account. One of the game's main selling points was the fact that it was a 3v3 fighting game, but giving players the choice to select whether they want to approach fights a more traditional way with 1v1 matches is a very nice addition. It is still unknown if these new modes will be added later on to the other versions of the game or if these are a Nintendo Switch exclusive feature, though.
Now, Bandai Namco Japan has shared a new, action-packed trailer for
Dragon Ball FighterZ on the Nintendo Switch—showing off some of the game's combat, its story mode, the game's fighter lobby, and the multiplayer 1v1 and 2v2 battle modes.
