We've known for a while that
Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting base forms for Goku and Vegeta. The game has been constantly releasing new DLC that adds new pairs of characters evry now and then.
In regards to DLC characters, we also knew, because some avid players managed to datamine the game, that there were 8 DLC characters coming our way. These characters were Goku base form, Vegeta base form, Vegito Blue, Bardock, Broly, Fused Zamasu, Android 17, and Cooler. The last two characters, Android 17 and Cooler, may have been intentionally left for last given that they may be considered spoilers for fans of
Dragon Ball Super that wait for the English dub.
Now we get our first look at Base Form Goku and Base Form Vegeta. What's interesting is that the changes weren't only done to their respective movesets, instead the developers went classic
Dragon Ball Z and gave Goku and Vegeta their original suits from the beginning of the Z series, which is a very nice touch instead of just recolouring the in-game models they already had.
