Based on
Street Fighter EX and
Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha, Arika's Fighting Layer series is the spiritual successor of the long-forgotten Capcom 3D fighting series.
Fighting EX Layer, a sequel to the original Fighting Layer, was announced during the 2017 EVO and would be releasing exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
Fighting EX Layer keeps all of the elements from the first game, as well as all of the inspiration it borrows from both
Street Fighter EX titles, while also adding some of its characters like Pullum Purna and Vulcano Rosso. As if that wasn't enough, Arika has managed to make a deal with SNK and get
Fatal Fury and
The King of Fighters series' very own Terry Bogard—who was announced back in August and is currently part of the game's roster.
Now, PC fans will finally be able to enjoy all of the fighting goodness from
Fighting EX Layer as Arika reveals that the game will be coming out on Steam on the
29th of November.
The Steam site for Fighting EX Layer has just gone live, and Arika has also released a 30-minute gameplay video showing off VS Mode running on PC.
