Dead or Alive fans will be pleased to see the return of two series mainstay characters to the franchise. While Leifang and Hitomi retain their Tai Chi and Karate martial arts styles, there have been changes to their default costumes.

In the gameplay showcase provided courtesy of IGN, a specatacular new location called Forbidden Fortune is shown. This stage is a sunken ship with lots of treasure and an enormous Octopus. The Octupus's tentacles can be triggered when an opponent is slammed against a wall.

Finally, a brand new character named Diego is glimpsed. He's an American character who is a street fighter and will be easy to use for people new to the series. Have a look at the footage and let us know if you are looking forward to the game.

Dead Or Alive 6 will be released in early 2019 on Xbox One and Playstation 4
