Jump Force is one of Bandai Namco's most ambitious projects ever, as well as one of the most anticipated crossover fighting games in history right next to Nintendo's very own
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The premise of the game sees anime and manga characters from iconic franchises, featured in Japan's Weekly Shōnen Jump, joining forces in order to prevent the destruction of their universe—as well as our own.
Bandai Namco's
Jump Force will be featuring some iconic locations from the games like Namek from
Dragon Ball Z, Konoha Village from
Naruto, and even
Rurouni Kenshin's Kamiya Dojo; to name only but a few. What's even more interesting is the fact that the game will also be featuring from real-life locations from our world, given that
Jump Force will be crossing over to our universe—as well.
Today, the official Bandai Namco Twitter account has shared new screenshots that give us our first look at
One Piece's Marineford, which has been merged with Tokyo to create what they've described as a "deadly fire and ice stage".
Take a look:
Universes collide as legendary manga heroes and villains are transported to our reality. Massive battles fill epic locales as good and evil clashes, while humankind hangs in the balance.
Jump Force will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 15th of February.
