To hype the long-awaited release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, SNK is bringing back a legend—veteran anime director Masami Ōbari—for a brand-new animated special.
Ōbari, best known to fans for his iconic work on the Fatal Fury anime trilogy in the early '90s (Legend of the Hungry Wolf, The New Battle, and The Motion Picture), returns to breathe fresh life into the franchise. While he's renowned for his sleek mecha designs, anime die-hards know him as the man who gave Terry Bogard and crew their animated swagger thirty years ago.
After a 26-year hiatus since Garou: Mark of the Wolves (1999), City of the Wolves marks the first true video game sequel in decades. The new anime video teases the clash of two legendary moves from the franchise—Geese Howard's Raging Storm and Terry Bogard's Power Geyser—in high-octane fashion.
