Capcom's critically acclaimed
Monster Hunter World sure has been one of the developer's biggest hits since its official release in January of laste year. In fact, just last month, Capcom announced that the game had exceeded all expectations by
selling a staggering 13 million copies worldwide.
Monster Hunter World is also Capcom's best-selling game of all time, and the developer has made sure to take advantage of this by collaborating with renowned franchises from other triple-A developers like Ubisoft and CD Projekt RED; offering
Assassin's Creed and
The Witcher items to players.
Keeping up with this tradition, Capcom announced today that they will also be collaborating with Guerrilla Games in order to bring
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Fields' Aloy to
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne as a playable character; becoming available on the
6th of September, which is the same day the
Iceborne expansion launches.
While this may be assumed by players, it is still worth mentioning that this collaboration between
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Fields is a PlayStation 4 console exclusive.
