Monster Hunter World released in January of last year to some very positive reviews from critics and fans of Capcom's critically acclaimed monster-hunting series; managing to sell a very impressive 7.5 million copies in just over a month after its release.
As if that wasn't enough, by selling over 7 million copies
Monster Hunter World also became Capcom's best-selling title of all time, beating out other Capcom heavy hitter series like
Resident Evil and
Street Fighter; which is no small feat at all.
It turns out that
Monster Hunter World keeps reaching new milestones, as Capcom announced that the games has now officially shipped a staggering 13 million units worldwide and, in order to celebrate, the developer will be giving away a special item pack that players can claim with their Daily Login Bonus between the
25th of July and the
29th of August.
It is also worth mentioning that these rewards come just ahead of the new
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion, which has been called the game's biggest expansion yet by Capcom; an expansion that will more than likely keep those sales up.
