MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD Has Sold Over 11 Million Copies
Developer Capcom's action role-playing game, Monster Hunter: World, has sold over 11 million copies and shattered expectations. Here is more information on the game's success.
Developer Capcom has announced its financial report and has stated that the action role-playing game Monster Hunter: World has sold over 11 million copies worldwide. The game launched for the PS4, Xbox One on January 26, 2018 and it was the developer's first title to reach the 10 million mark.
The game launched for the PC later, it was made available on August 2018. Eve though this version launched later, it still performed well and the company states its continued backlog slaes have been going strong.
Capcom also presented the numbers behind another game, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. The upcoming expansion, Iceborne, was also discussed. This new expansion will introduce brand-new monsters, creatures, equipment and a frozen world ready to be explored. You can find the sales numbers right here.
