While no stranger to making history, Capcom's Monster Hunter World has been one of, if not the highest selling game in the history of the company. The premise of the game expands on the monster-hunting mechanics that have made the game famous and add in more in-depth customization and online play between anyone!
Its most recent update, Iceborne, released in the fall of last year and has been celebrated for properly expanding the world with new environments while introducing both new and classic monsters. Now, rounding out its first year, Capcom is gearing up for the release of their final update with new items and a new monster.
Initially debuting in the era of the PS2, the elder dragon Fatalis will be making its deadly return to the franchise. Found after completing the story and Alatreon investigation, the monster will be found in Castle Schrade. Those who defeat the monster will be given the same rewards to upgrade and change their armor and palico cat. Other additions in the update include a claw boost upgrade, new layer armour, new pendants, guild and squad cards, new room decorations along with some holiday-themed events like the Fun Fright Fest!
This update is shaping up to be an excellent closer for Iceborne; however, who knows what's next for the hit game! Make sure to check out the Fatalis trailer below, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments!
