Capcom released
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the biggest-ever expansion for
Monster Hunter World, early in September of this year; becoming a massive hit overnight and managing to sell a very impressive
2.5 million units worldwide in just a week since its release.
While the
Iceborne expansion became available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Capcom still hadn't given PC players an official release date for it; hinting only that it was expected to launch at some point in January of 2020.
Today, Capcom has finally announced that
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will become available on PC(Steam) on the
9th of January; bringing with it a bunch of features that are exclusive to this version due to the other platform's technical limitations.
For starters,
Monster World: Iceborne for PC(Steam) will support high resolution texture pack and will allow for uncapped 4K 60fps, as well as ultra-wide screen and DirectX 12 support. The
Iceborne expansion is also improving on keyboard and mouse controls, in order to provide a better gameplay experience for players; needless to say, it is the definitive way to play the game.
