At the beginning of August, Monster Hunter World triumphed upon its arrival to Steam. In the following days, we knew the game had exceeded 10 million copies sold, of which 2 million belonged to PC sales.

Almost a month later, Capcom wanted to make the first official comment about the sales of the game, indicating that they have exceeded the expectations of the company.

Capcom has referred to the "solid performance" of the PC version of the game, which has "exceeded the company’s expectations since its release on the Steam platform in August".

In other recent news of the company, Capcom expects losses of 4,500 million yen (40 million dollars) after the cancellation of Capcom Vancouver projects.
