With a brilliant, and quite gruesome trailer to be honest,
Mortal Kombat 11 was officially announced during this year's The Game Awards. The announcement came pretty much out of nowhere, which was definitely a pleasant surprise for fans of the brutal fighting series.
It's been three years since
Mortal Kombat X was released, and
Mortal Kombat 11 is pulling no punches—much like its predecessor—when it comes to the violence fans have come to expect; all of that mixed with that amazing fight between Raiden and Scorpion in the reveal trailer makes the game feel meven more like a treat for fans.
Today, we get the first high definition screenshots for
Mortal Kombat 11, showing us some of the best moments from the trailer, as well as flaunting the game's very detailed graphics that remind us of the graphics seen in Netherrealm's
Injustice 2: Gods Among Us; where character models looked very life like.

The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own.
