RoboCop being introduced as the guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath was quite the pleasant surprise for fans of both the Mortal Kombat series and Paul Verhoeven's classic RoboCop film.

The best news about this announcement was revealed by none other than Mortal Kombat series co-creator Ed Boon, when he confirmed that Peter Weller — the actor who brought the character to life in Verhoeven's RoboCop — was coming back to voice the character.

NetherRealm Studios has also had their fair share of fun promotioning the arrival of RoboCop, pitting him against the Terminator in a couple of gameplay videos that finally let fans of both series know what a fight between these iconic characters would look like.

RoboCop isn't the only character being introduced in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, since he's also joined by veteran series fighters Sheeva and Fujin — who already got their proper introductory trailers that showed them off in action.

Today, NetherRealm Studios has shared the final character trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath — or at least for the time being — giving RoboCop the spotlight he rightfully deserves ahead of his highly anticipated debut in just two more days.
