Developer Netherrealm's upcoming brutal fighting game, Mortal Kombat 11, has a huge event going on today and has revealed its beta schedule. Here is how you can be part of it.

The giant Mortal Kombat 11 event is going on right now and fans as well as players should get ready for the amount of headlines this game is going to create. Fans of the franchise and game knew that a beta was coming but now it actually has a schedule.

Developer NetherRealm Studios has revealed that the beta will NOT be open for everyone and will NOT be available for every console. The beta will begin on March 28 but will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One only. Nintendo Switch and PC users will not have access at any point. However, the full game will indeed hit every platform on April 23rd.

Now, the beta will not be available for every PS4 and Xbox One user, only those players that pre-order the game will get an access code. Shao Kahn will be available for those pre-ordering the game as well. The official site has several links for fans already, GameStop, Amazon and other retailers are selling the game and have pre-orders ready to go.

This is the 11th installment in the main MK series and serves as a sequel to 2015's Mortal Kombat X. The game will hit the PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC on April 23, 2019. The game will feature both single and multiplayer options.




Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise.
