Mortal Kombat series creator, Ed Boon, has been teasing some of the new characters that will be added to the roster in NetherRealm Studios' acclaimed
Mortal Kombat 11, but neither he or the studio have revealed the official release dates for these characters.
The characters that have been officially teased by Boon are Sindel and Nightwolf, and he has even given us our first look at both of the returning characters — although we have yet to get a proper character trailer for both of them.
Now, it seems that the official release date for, at least, one of them has been unofficially confirmed by none other than Nintendo — which has listed a
Mortal Kombat 11 sale on their website.
According to Nintendo's website, Kombat Pack owners get an early access to Nightwolf, and he will become available on the
13th of August. As of this writing, Nintendo has changed the
Mortal Kombat 11 sale's description; no longer featuring the release date — which is something that somewhat confirms the release date even more, actually.
The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
