The animated Mortal Kombat Legends franchise has become a hit with fans of the video game franchise and, as we first reported on Toonado.com, another instalment titled Cage Match is set to be released later this year.
The series kicked off in 2020 with Scorpion's Revenge, while Battle of the Realms and Snow Blind later followed.
This instalment will be helmed by Ethan Spaulding, while Jeremy Adams - who penned the previous three instalments - returns as screenwriter. Rick Morales, meanwhile, once again serves as supervising producer.

Yes, you read that correctly: Jennifer Grey and Gilbert Gottfried really are part of Cage Match's cast!
