Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios has officially unveiled the cover art of
Mortal Kombat 11. The title was officially announced a month ago during The Game Award 2018 with a shockingly graphic CGI trailer that showcased Raiden battling two Scorpions. Considering that Scorpion is one of the most recognizable
MK characters, it shouldn't be surprising that he's the main star of the said artwork.
According to NetherRealm,
MK11 will feature a new game engine, with even more bloody and bloody scenes. The studio will also borrow some elements from
Injustice 2, mostly its advanced customization system, with clothes, accessories and move sets never seen in a
MK game before. The studio is also working hard on a "
strong" multiplayer component, that will be fully oriented towards the esports.
Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay reveal is slated to happen on January 17, 2019 giving all fans of the brutal series a chance to see the new
MK in action. The official gameplay showcase is set to be held in London, UK, at the KOKO music & entertainment venue, but if you won't be there for some reason, the event will be livestreamed on Twitch. In the meantime, take a look at
