Last month, NetherRealm Studios confirmed that the Joker would be included in Mortal Kombat 11's current Season Pass. Other iconic characters included in the Kombat Pack are: Night Wolf, Sindel and The Terminator. Spawn will become available in March.

Richard Epcar, the actor who voiced the Joker in the Injustice Games, will play the character yet again.

No gameplay footage has been revealed. The teaser occurs on a rainy night right after New Year's with the Joker having escaped from Arkham Assylum. The camera cranes down a brick wall defaced by the Joker's graffiti before showing his cane. Maniacal laughter ensues at the end.

The Joker will fight his way into Mortal Kombat 11 on January 28th 2020. Will you play as the character? Let us know in the comments section.

Continue the epic saga through a new cinematic story that is more than 25 years in the making. Players will take on the role of a variety of past and present characters in a time-bending new narrative that pits Raiden against Kronika, the Keeper of Time who created existence at the dawn of history.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
