When SNK announced the latest entry in the Samurai Shodown series, they announced that the game would be launching for pretty much every platform out there. Eventually the game, for some reason simply called Samurai Shodown, released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but didn't become available for the Nintendo Switch nor PC.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game has since launched, and PC players were actually concerned that it could've been cancelled; not too far-fetched, considering that Samurai Shodown launched in June of last year, and up until April of this year they still had no news about the PC port.
PC players were disappointed once again when last month SNK announced that Samurai Shodown was finally becoming available on PC; albeit via the Epic Games Store, which didn't bode quite well with Steam players.
The good news is that Samurai Shodown has finally become available for PC players via the Epic Games Store. Unfortunately, we still don't know if this means that the game won't be releasing for Steam players or not; SNK has not provided this information just yet.
Now that Samurai Shodown is available on the Epic Games Store, SNK has released an action-packed trailer that introduces players to all of the fighters available as part of the base game, while also showing off some gameplay.
