Bandai Namco has recently revealed some details about the upcoming Patch Ver 1.11 for
SoulCalibur VI, which will bring some balance changes to the game, as well as new details about the Create-A-Soul DLC.
As reported by DualShockers, the reason why the patch has been delayed was because of the 2B from Square Enix's NieR: Automata, who caused the balance changes to be delayed as the team made the new character their priority, which made them split these balance changes between Patch V 1.10 and 1.11.
In regards to the Create-A-Soul DLC, the report claims that two packs are coming with over 100 items. The first pack will be released soon after Ver 1.11 is released, and will be including new costume parts , items from past titles in the
SoulCalibur series, and some other items from characters that are currently not in the
SoulCalibur VI roster. Not only are these items and costumes being added, but some music from previous titles in the series are also being included.
Patch Ver 1.11 will be including the following:
-
Changes to stages that made it easier for players to get a Ring Out” win than others.
-
Various Hitbox Issues, mentioned in the stream were Astaroth and Cervantes.
-
Removing differences of the ways a move works offline and online to harmonize the gameplay in both modes.
-
Balance changes for all characters to balance the roster in general but also to emphasize the design philosophies behind each of the characters.
