The
SoulCalibur series introduced characters that are quite unique in their very own way. Most fighters have always had their look and style based onthe specific combat style they have; like Mitsurugi looking like a ronin, Siegfried looking like the knight in shining armour, or Cervantes looking like a Spanish pirate.
And then, there are the other characters that embrace the weirdness, or the fantasy aspect of the SoulCalibur series. Bandai Namco has recently introduced a brand new fighter to
SoulCalibur VI and it seems to be quite the interesting character.
While not much information has been revealed about the new character, we know that his name is Azwell and is the self-proclaimed Leader of Humanity. The weapon he wields is the Palindrome, which gives him the ability to manifest weapons at will.
Azwel practices the application of martial philosophy and theory, which makes him somewhat of a fighter/scholar—possibly giving us a bit of background regarding his personality. Azwel is the second character introduced as a newcomer to the series alongside Grøh, so it is likely that we will get a few more newcomer reveals in the upcoming month—or even after the game releases.
