Heads up, fighting game aficionados! Capcom has just announced that Street Fighter V is getting a 60% discount on the PlayStation Store and Steam. This is a limited offer, however, so players who want to get the full game for cheap better hurry up.

For those who may be interested in getting Street Fighter V, the game can currently be purchased for $7.99 USD. There is one caveat, though, as this is the base game, and does not include any of the previously released downloadable content.

Again, while this is the base version of the game is, it is pretty much the same experience sans the additional characters that have been added over the years. Players can also choose to upgrade to the Champion Edition, although that will obviously cost them extra.

According to Capcom, this limited time offer will only be valid for today. After that, Street Fighter V will go back to its regular price — which is still not that expensive, considering that the game has been out for a good four years now; it is still worth checking out, though.

Experience the intensity of head-to-head battle with Street Fighter® V! Choose from 16 iconic characters, each with their own personal story and unique training challenges, then battle against friends online or offline with a robust variety of match options. Earn Fight Money in Ranked Matches, play for fun in Casual Matches or invite friends into a Battle Lounge and see who comes out on top! PlayStation 4 and PC players can also play against each other thanks to cross-play compatibility!

Street Fighter V is currently available for the PlayStation and PC(Steam).
