Developer nWay and publisher Lionsgate Games have officially announced that
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid's current roster will get much bigger after the upcoming inclusion of three all-new characters that are headed to the game in its first, completely free for all players, content update.
According to the developers, those characters are Dragon Armor Trini, Udonna, and Cenozoic Blue Ranger. Considering that
Battle for the Grid's roster of playable character features only eight heroes and villains (Jason Lee Scott, Tommy Oliver, Gia Moran, Ranger Slayer, Magna Defender, Kat Manx, Mastodon Sentry, Goldar, and Lord Drakkon), it's good to know that players will soon have a chance to duke it out as three more contenders. Unfortunately, the update's release date hasn't been shared yet.
Given that
Battle for the Grid is adopting the "
games as a service" model, its recent launch was a starting point rather than a full release, with more playable characters, game modes, arenas, abilities, and collectables coming to the title in the future. Take a closer look at the new fighters down below:
