A few weeks ago, we got some official information via V-Jump magazine, which revealed that Bandai Namco and Arc System Works would be revealing
Dragon Ball Super's Ultra Instinct Goku as part of the
Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3; information that was going to be revealed at the
Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals 2019 - 2020.
Today, as the
Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals 2019 - 2020 wrapped up, Bandai Namco officially announced that
Dragon Ball Super's Ultra Instinct Goku would be joining the roster in
Dragon Ball FighterZ, while also revealing that he isn't coming alone — as another character will be joining him:
Dragon Ball Super's Cale and Caulifla's Potara Fusion Kefla.
As revealed by Bandai Namco, Kefla is the first character to join the roster in
Dragon Ball FighterZ on
Friday the 28th of February. Ultra Instinct Goku, however, is expected to become available at some point in Spring of this year — so fans will still have to keep waiting a little bit more to play as Goku's godlike transformation.
With the announcement, Bandai Namco obviously released an action-packed gameplay trailer that gives us our first official look at
Dragon Ball Super's Ultra Instinct Goku and Kefla, so be sure to check it out down below, and let us know what you thought about the announcement trailer.
