Well, sh*it! It turns out that the rumours of Mileena, Rain, and Rambo being the next fighters to join the roster in NetherRealm Studios' critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat 11 were true, as the developer has released a cinematic trailer that give us our first look at the characters.
While Mileena has been heavily requested, and we really do mean heavily in this particular case, it is actually Rambo the one most people are talking about at the moment. Interestingly enough, Ed Boon has also confirmed, on his personal Twitter account, that Rambo is being voiced by Sylvester Stallone, which is awesome.
This announcement not only revealed Mileena, Rain, and Rambo, as NetherRealm Studios also took the opportunity to reveal Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate — which, as the name appropriately suggests, is the ultimate version of the game — and that it will become available on Tuesday the 17th of November.
But what exactly makes this new version "ultimate"? According to the official information revealed by series Co-creator Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate is including the base Mortal Kombat 11 game, Kombat Pack 1, the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion, and the upcoming Kombat Pack 2; all in one convenient package.
NetherRealm Studios also confirms that pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, as well as pre-orders for the recently announced Kombat Pack 2, will open exactly a week from today, on Thursday the 15th of October; with both the ultimate version of the game and the long-awaited Mileena, Rain, and Rambo becoming available on Tuesday the 17th of November, as mentioned above.
